LEGENDA SUZI QUATRO V ČR
Není tajemstvím, že miluju staré legendy. Šedivé psy a rockové babičky... Spousta legendárních kapel mi neutekla. Problém je ale v sestavách. Napadají mě snad jen Rolling Stones, kteří jsou takřka původní, nebo hrajou ve stejném složení již nějakej ten pátek. Ve zbytku legend působí kolikrát jen zpěvák, nebo jen kytarista. Zbytek si užívá důchodového věku, nebo jsou mrtví...
U kapel, kde dominovali ženy je to trochu jiné. U rockových zpěvaček mě napadají jména jako Tina Turner, Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett, Doro Pesch, Lita Ford. Tian se dala na comeback, Suzi taky a Joan Jett to ve svých 5O letech stále pokouší... i když lidé znají spíše její největší hit I love Rock n Roll :)
Dívčí kapely mě napadají snad jen dvě, tři. Runaways (Lita Ford, Joan Jett...) a Girlschool (zaujmuli mě coverem od Sweet - Fox on the run :)
Pokud pominu rockovou babičku Tinu zbyde mi z těch starších ročníků snad jen skvělá Suzi Quatro.
Suzi, vlastním jménem Susan Kay Quatrocchio je ve svých 59 letech opět na turné, které po snad dvaceti letech rozjela tuším před 2-3 roky. Ze zvěvačka z Michiganu, která založila ve 14 letech se svými sestramy svojí první kapelu se zanedlougho vyklubal rockový rebel. Její pověsné kožené ovaraly (které jí dodnes sluší!!!!!) a její basová kytara, která neodmyslitelně patří k její image ovlivnila svět ženského glam/hard rocku. Písně jako Daytona Demon, Can the Can nebo duet Stumbolin In s Chrisem Normanen z kapely Smokie (mluvilo se o jejich vztahu) jsou určitě hity i dnes... Suzi se ovšem v 8o letech odmlčela a začala pracovat jako scénaristka, herečka, moderátorka, producentka a buhví co ještě.... Pro mě a pro mnohé fandy byla zpráva o comebacku velkou ránou. Cože? Suzi? Tu, kterou poslouchal můj fotr? Ta ještě žijě? Proč se o ní nepsalo, kde byla??? Joooo, to jsem si také říkal.....
Suzi je Zpátky a po 2 letech se opět představí českému publiku na festivalu CZECH ROCK BLOCK v Plasech 1.8.2009. Nemůžu si dovolit nebýt již podruhé u toho. její hlas i basa po tich letech opět září a hlas je stále v perfektní formě jako její elány i vzhled :)
